Socialization of the Journal of Educational Policy Research (JPKP) Goes To Campus

The Socialization Event of the Educational Policy Research Journal (JPKP) Goes to Campus was held at the Undergraduate Education Policy Study Program, Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University (FIP UNY), on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. This activity took place in the Moh. Amien Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, FIP UNY and lasted from 09.00 to 12.00 WIB. This activity was attended by lecturers and students both in the field of research and scientific publications in the field of education policy and in fields related to education policy. This socialization activity presented a team from the Educational Policy Study Program (PSKP) who played an active role in delivering materials and assisting discussions. The team consisted of Linda Efaria, Anggi Afriansyah, M. Adham Anshari, Abi Said Eka Qodi, and Ning Karningsih, each of whom contributed according to their areas of expertise in journal management and the development of educational policy research. This socialization activity aims to introduce JPKP as a scientific publication forum that focuses on the study, analysis, and development of education policy at the national and regional levels. Through the Goes to Campus program, JPKP management strives to bring the culture of writing and scientific publication closer to the academic community of higher education, especially undergraduate students. In their presentation, the JPKP management team explained the journal's scope, editorial process, scientific article writing standards, and submission and review mechanisms. Participants also received an explanation of the importance of scientific publications as part of academic development, strengthening research competencies, and making a real contribution to the formulation of evidence-based education policies. The participants' enthusiasm was evident in the interactive discussion and question-and-answer sessions throughout the event. Through this JPKP Goes to Campus Socialization activity, the Undergraduate Education Policy Study Program of the Faculty of IP UNY is expected to further strengthen a critical, reflective, and productive academic culture in the field of education policy research and encourage students and lecturers to actively contribute to scientific publications.
